What’s the Best Glock 26 Concealed Holster?

I’m on the hunt for the best concealed holster for my Glock 26, and I could really use some help! I’ve been looking into different options, but it’s overwhelming with so many types out there. I’ve read a bit about IWB and OWB holsters, but I’m curious about the experiences of others.

Here are a few things I’m considering:

  • Comfort: I’ll be wearing this all day, so if it pinches or rubs in the wrong spot, it’s a no-go.
  • Retention: I want to make sure my Glock is secure but still easy to draw if needed.
  • Concealment: I need something that doesn’t print too much under my clothes.

If anyone has personal recommendations or can share their experiences—like what worked for you or what didn’t—I’d really appreciate it! Also, pics of your setup could be helpful.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

I’m a big fan of leather holsters for the Glock 26. They’re comfortable and mold nicely to your body over time. Durability is great as long as you care for them.

I’ve tried Kydex and I have to say it’s a game changer. It’s lightweight and very durable, though not as comfy as leather initially.

Nylon is also worth considering! It’s flexible and affordable, making it a great option for beginners. However, it might not be as durable as leather or Kydex.

I agree with Benjamin. Nylon is perfect for summer months when I want something lighter. But I always worry about its long-term durability.

I think it ultimately comes down to personal preference. For me, leather is where it’s at, but I see the appeal of Kydex too. What’s everyone else’s opinion?

You’re right, Lisa! I’ve found that the way you carry also affects what material works best. I’ve had issues with printing when using Kydex.

Comfort is key for everyday carry. I often switch between leather and Kydex, depending on how I’m dressing that day. It makes a huge difference!

Can we talk about retention? I feel like Kydex has a real upper hand here. It’s just so secure! But that click sound can be a little alarming.

I like Kydex too for the retention, but leather just feels classy, you know? It’s like wearing a nice jacket vs. a rain poncho!

Haha! I completely get that, Robert. I often joke that carrying in leather is my “fancy” carry.

Don’t underestimate nylon! It’s great for running errands. If you’re looking for versatility, it’s worth checking out.

That’s a valid point! However, I feel it lacks the professional look of leather or even Kydex. Style matters too, right?

True! It’s like the difference between wearing sneakers and dress shoes at a formal event.

For every day use, I’ve found that the combination of comfort and durability in Kydex cannot be beaten. It’s just so practical!

Exactly! But a little extra comfort in leather is hard to beat, especially for long hours.

I think a hybrid option might be the best of both worlds! Anyone ever tried a combination holster?

I think the inside-the-waistband (IWB) holsters are great for the Glock 26. They offer excellent concealment and comfort, especially for those of us who wear tighter clothing.

IWB is definitely a solid choice! But have you tried appendix carry? It can be super quick to draw from that position.

I personally prefer OWB holsters. They are more comfortable for longer periods, especially if you’re wearing a loose shirt. Plus, they offer a unique cool factor!
