I’ve had some issues with slide failures on my P226 Scorpion. Sometimes it doesn’t lock back after the last round. It’s frustrating because I love this gun otherwise.

I’ve experienced that too! It seems like a common mechanical hiccup. Have you tried any specific maintenance techniques to alleviate it?

The trigger on mine feels gritty sometimes. It’s not consistent, which messes with my accuracy. Anyone else facing trigger issues?

Yes! I’ve noticed that too. A good trigger job can help, but it shouldn’t be necessary out of the box.

Magazine feed failures have also been a problem for me. Occasionally, it stubbornly refuses to feed. I even lost a match because of it!

That’s unfortunate! Have you checked if the magazines are seated properly or if they’re damaged?

I have a friend who’s had to send his back for repairs twice already! It seems really hit or miss. Anyone else had to deal with Sig’s customer service?

Totally! That’s concerning for a premium firearm. Hopefully, they’ll address those issues soon.

While I haven’t had major issues, I did notice the slide occasionally feels like it’s sticking. A lubricating fix helped, but it’s still a point of concern.

Glad it helped! Regular maintenance seems crucial with these. How often do you clean it?

In all honesty, I feel torn. I enjoy the ergonomics, but the reliability worries me. I want to like it more than I do right now.

It’s a shame because it seems like it could be an excellent firearm with a few tweaks.

I heard from a buddy that if you name your gun after a famous video game character, it fixes the problems. Anyone tried that?

I’ve shot quite a few different brands of ammo through my P226 Scorpion, and I’ve noticed some jams with lower-quality rounds. It’s frustrating when you’re at the range and can’t get a consistent performance.

I feel you on that, Janet! I’ve had some issues with specific hollow points causing failures to feed as well.

It’s interesting how some ammunition seems to work perfectly, while others can be a real headache. What brands did you find the most troublesome?

I’ve had problems mainly with Remington UMC—lots of jams. Switched to Federal and had better luck!

I think the powder consistency in certain ammo contributes to performance issues. My Scorpion runs better on high-quality brands for sure, especially during rapid fire!

Definitely! I love my P226 but I have to be picky about what I feed it. It’s a bit of a diva, honestly.
