Thoughts on Holosun 507K for Sig P365?

I’ve been considering adding a Holosun 507K red dot sight to my Sig P365, and I’m looking for some input from those who might have experience with this setup. I’m particularly interested in:

Compatibility Issues

  • Has anyone experienced any mounting or fitting challenges when attaching the 507K to the P365? I’d like to ensure that it sits securely and lines up with the iron sights.

Installation Tips

  • Are there specific tools or techniques that you found helpful during installation? Any tips for making sure it’s securely mounted?

Performance

  • How does the sight perform in various lighting conditions? I’ve heard good things about the Holosun’s brightness settings, but firsthand accounts are always more reliable.
  • What’s your take on the battery life? I’ve seen different claims, and I’m curious about real-world usage.

Overall Experience

  • Would you recommend the 507K for everyday carry? Are there any drawbacks I should know about before making this investment?

I’m eager to hear your thoughts and experiences, as I’ve read some mixed reviews on various forums. If you have any other optics that work well with the P365, I’d love to know about those too! Looking forward to your feedback!

I’ve been using the Holosun 507K on my Sig P365 for about six months now. The accuracy has been fantastic. I can consistently hit my targets even at longer distances.

That sounds great! I’m curious about the battery life. How long does it last for you?

Battery life has been solid, around 50,000 hours on the lower setting! I’ve never had it die on me when I needed it.

That’s impressive! Have you noticed any issues with durability in tough conditions?

I didn’t have any issues with durability. I took it to the range during some rain and it worked perfectly. I feel confident it could handle rougher use too.

That’s good to know! I’ve been looking for something reliable. What about usability? Is it easy to adjust?

Absolutely, the adjustments are user-friendly. The controls are intuitive, and I appreciate that I can switch brightness levels quickly.

Nice! Any tips for first-time users trying to zero it in?

Start with a solid bench rest and take your time adjusting. It took me a little trial and error, but don’t rush it!

Trial and error is just part of the experience, right? Anyone had any serious issues with them?

I think some people reported issues with the dot disappearing, but mine has been flawless so far. Maybe it’s a rare production issue?

Right? I’ve heard similar tales. Maybe I should stick to the old iron sights just to be safe, lol.

Haha, but the 507K is worth it—trust me! It’s like going from VHS to streaming.

That’s a perfect analogy! I’m looking forward to trying it out at the range soon.

Same here! Just take your time and enjoy the experience. It’s more fun that way!

I’m really impressed with the Holosun 507K! It’s a great fit for the Sig P365, and installation was straightforward. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely for the best results.

I’ve heard good things too. Any tips on getting the co-witness just right? I don’t want my reds to be off target.

For co-witnessing, I’d recommend using suppressor-height sights. They work perfectly with the 507K and give you a nice clear view. A few adjustments may be necessary to get it just right.

Great tip! I’m currently using standard sights, would that be a problem or just need some tweaking?
