I’ve been considering purchasing the Leupold DeltaPoint Micro red dot sight for my Glock and wanted to get some feedback from those who have experience with it.
Here’s what I’m curious about:
Installation: How easy is it to mount on a Glock? Any tips or tricks that make it easier?
Target Acquisition: For those who’ve used it, how does it perform in real-world scenarios? Is it quick to acquire targets under different conditions?
Performance: How does the sight hold up during shooting sessions? Any issues with durability or battery life?
Compatibility: Any specific models or setups that work best with the DeltaPoint Micro?
User Experiences: For self-defense, concealed carry, or even competition—how has this sight improved your shooting experience?
Additional Thoughts:
I’m particularly interested in its practicality for personal defense versus competitive shooting. If you could share your thoughts or experiences, it would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to hearing from you all and thanks in advance for your insights!
I’ve been using the Leupold Glock Red Dot for a few months now. The accuracy is impressive, and I find target acquisition to be much quicker than with iron sights, especially under pressure.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about switching to a red dot, but the speed at which you can acquire targets is mind-blowing! I feel like a pro on the range now.
I’ve noticed that while it works well overall, under heavy rain, I felt a slight hesitation in the dot visibility. Just something to keep in mind for you all!
I’ve mounted the Leupold Red Dot on my Gen 4 Glock, and it was straightforward. Just make sure you have the right mounting plate for your Glock generation. It fits perfectly!
