Looking for the Best LCP 380 Pocket Holster - Recommendations Needed!

I’m in the market for a pocket holster for my Ruger LCP .380 and would love to get some feedback or reviews from fellow gun owners. Here are a few considerations I’m thinking about:

  • Comfort: I want something that doesn’t poke or dig into my skin when I’m sitting down.
  • Concealment: How well does it conceal the firearm? I’m looking for something that doesn’t print too much.
  • Accessibility: Is it easy to draw from the holster? I need something that allows for a quick draw if the need arises.
  • Durability: How well do the materials hold up over time? I want something that can withstand daily wear and tear.

I’ve heard of a few brands like DeSantis and Galco, but I’m open to any suggestions or personal experiences you might have. If you have pics of how it looks when worn or any links to where I can buy them (especially if there are good deals), that would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

I’ve been using the DeSantis Super Fly holster for my LCP 380, and it’s super comfy. The material is soft and molds well to your body, making it great for daily carry.

I agree! I’ve found it to be really lightweight too, which is crucial for all-day carry. It barely feels like anything.

The Galco Pocket Protector is another good option. The leather feels high quality, and it hides well under various clothing styles, especially when wearing slacks.

That’s the best part! I’ve tried heavier options, and they just feel cumbersome. Lighter is definitely better for me.

I’ve owned the Pro-Tech holster, and while it’s effective for concealment, it felt bulkier than expected. It’s important to find one that balances concealment with comfort.

I’ve read great things about that one! Does it stay in place well when you’re moving around?

Comfort is key! I’ve found that a design that hugs the side of your pants really helps with keeping it anchored during the day. Plus, breathable materials aid in comfort.

I’m all in for pocket holsters! Remember, it’s not just about concealment but also accessibility. You want to be quick if you need to draw, right?

I once tried a holster that promised comfort but felt like I had a rock in my pocket! :joy: Comfort and usability must go hand in hand.

Exactly! Sometimes I feel like some designs sacrifice quick access for comfort. It’s a tough balance.

For lightweight options, consider something made with nylon. They can be really effective and often come with features for extra retention.

That sounds interesting! I haven’t tried a nylon holster yet. Any specific brands you recommend?

I’ve been using the DeSantis Super Fly holster for my LCP 380, and the material has held up well. It’s soft but durable, and I’ve had no issues with wear over time. Definitely worth considering!

Thanks for sharing! I’ve heard mixed reviews about the DeSantis material. Is it still comfortable after prolonged use?

I recommend the Galco KingTuk, it’s sturdy and offers great retention. The leather feels premium, but the price is a bit higher. However, if you’re serious about quality, it’s a solid investment!

How does the Galco KingTuk hold up over time? I’m worried about leather holsters getting worn out quickly.

I’ve had mine for over two years with daily carry, and it just gets better. As for comfort, it molds to your body perfectly! No signs of significant wear yet.

Awesome news! I’m glad to hear that. I’m looking for something that lasts. Has anyone tried the Blackhawk Serpa? What did you think?

The Blackhawk Serpa is sturdy but bulky. I wouldn’t call it a pocket holster. It’s great for the OWB carry, but there are better options for pocket carry.
