Looking for the Best Holster for Sig P365 XL with Romeo Zero

Seeking Help: Holster for SIG P365 XL with Romeo Zero

I’m on the hunt for a holster that fits my SIG P365 XL equipped with a Romeo Zero sight. I know finding the right holster can make a huge difference not just in comfort but also in safety and accessibility, especially for everyday carry.

Key Features I’m Looking For:

  • Fit: It should securely accommodate the P365 XL with the optics without a tight squeeze that could hinder drawing.
  • Retention: I’d like a holster that offers adjustable retention, allowing me to set how securely the firearm is held.
  • Concealment: Since I plan on carrying it daily, good concealment is important. Any recommendations for low-profile designs?
  • Versatility: Something that can transition from OWB (Outside the Waistband) to IWB (Inside the Waistband) would be ideal.
  • Durability: Materials should be robust enough to withstand daily wear and tear, as well as outdoor conditions.

What I’ve Considered So Far:

I’ve checked a few brands but I’m still not convinced:

  • Alien Gear Holsters
  • Crossbreed Holsters
  • Safariland
  • Galco

I would love to hear about your personal experiences with holsters designed for the P365 XL with Romeo Zero. Any specific models you can recommend? I’m open to both leather and polymer options—whatever works best!

Thanks in advance for your help. Looking forward to your suggestions!

I’ve been using the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.5 for my P365 XL with Romeo Zero. The neoprene backing is super comfortable for all-day wear, plus it’s adjustable for perfect fit.

I’ve heard good things about Alien Gear, but I’m leaning towards the Vedder LightTuck. Anyone tried it? How does it compare?

The Vedder LightTuck is excellent! It’s kydex, so you get great retention and it’s slim, making it perfect for concealment. Just gotta make sure the fit is right for the Romeo Zero.

Both of those sound great, but I prefer something more leather-based. I have a Galco KingTuk, and the comfort level is outstanding, especially with the adjustable can’t.

Leather is nice, but I worry about retention. Does Galco keep the gun secure enough?

Absolutely! The Galco has a great retention system. Just ensure you give it a little break-in time. After that, it fits snug and carries like a dream.

What do you all think about OWB holsters? I’ve seen some that look nice for the P365 XL.

OWB can be great for ease of access, especially in warmer weather. Just not as discreet when carrying in public.

I love OWB! I have a Blackhawk SERPA for mine, and draw speed is awesome! Just make sure you’re wearing a jacket or something to conceal it.

Fair point! I guess it depends on the season. What’s your favorite material for OWB?

I prefer kydex for OWB holsters. It holds the shape well and doesn’t sag. Just have to ensure you don’t wear it too tight!

Kydex is awesome! But honestly, I’m a fan of humorous holsters too, like the ones with quirky designs. They make carrying a blast! Ever seen one with cats on it?

I recommend checking out the Blackhawk Serpa holster. It fits the P365 XL with the Romeo Zero perfectly and has adjustable retention for a snug fit.

That’s great advice! I personally use a Bravo Concealment Torsion Holster, and it fits like a glove. No issues with the Romeo Zero at all.

Has anyone tried using custom holsters for the P365 XL? I’m curious if they offer better adjustment options compared to the standard ones.

Custom holsters are definitely worth considering. They can be molded to fit your specific configuration with the Romeo Zero. I went with a Vedder Holsters option, and I’m really happy with it!

It’s essential to check the holster’s specifications on the manufacturer’s site. Some say they fit the P365 XL but aren’t designed for optics. Measure carefully!

Great tip! I learned that the hard way with my first holster purchase. Now I always double-check the fit.

I’ve found retention straps really help with keeping everything secure. The P365 XL can shift around a bit if the holster isn’t snug enough.
