I’ve never had an issue with my Glock 42; it’s been smooth from the start. The 43 has a great reputation, too, but I always recommend trying them out first-hand.
In terms of capacity, the 43 gives you a slight edge. But if you carry a spare mag, the 42 holds its own in terms of firepower too!

Not silly at all! If you’re going to carry it, you want to feel good about it. The 43 is more aggressive looking, though.
Both models have their perks; it really comes down to your hand size and how it feels in your grip. It’s all about what suits you personally. Happy shooting!
