Does the PSA Dagger really take Glock magazines?

I’ve been hearing a lot about the PSA Dagger lately, and I’m really curious about its compatibility with Glock magazines. Can anyone provide detailed information on this?

Compatibility Overview

From what I’ve gathered, many people say that the PSA Dagger is designed to accept Glock magazines, particularly those from the Glock 19 model. This sounds awesome since Glock magazines are widely available and known for their reliability.

User Experiences

I’ve scoured a few forums, and the user experiences seem to vary. Some users rave about how seamlessly the Dagger handles Glock mags, while others have had mixed feelings. I’m particularly interested in:

  • Feeding Issues: Have any of you faced issues such as jamming or misfeeds when using Glock magazines?
  • Performance: What’s been your experience with accuracy and reliability when using non-PSA mags?
  • User Mods: Has anyone done any modifications to improve compatibility or performance with Glock mags?

Comparison with Glock 19

Also, how does the PSA Dagger compare to the Glock 19 regarding magazine performance? Are there any noticeable differences when firing, or are the experiences largely the same?

Conclusion

If you’re a Dagger user, your insights would be really helpful. I’m considering buying one myself, and knowing how well it performs with Glock magazines could influence my decision. Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, the PSA Dagger does take Glock magazines. It’s compatible with most standard Glock models, particularly the Glock 19 and 17 magazines. However, make sure you’re using the correct size for your Dagger variant.

That’s good to know! Does anyone have experience with using extended Glock magazines? I’m curious if those fit well too.

Extended magazines generally fit well with the Dagger, but I’ve heard some users say they require minor modifications for perfect feeding reliability. It’s a mixed bag.

Interesting! What kind of modifications are we talking about here? Anything complicated?

Not too complicated, really. Some users have mentioned trimming the magazine catch area or adjusting the follower. Just ensure to test for function after any tweaks!

That sounds manageable! Has anyone had issues with feeding or jams with these mods?

I’ve had some issues with feeding occasionally, but it was mainly with aftermarket Glock mags, not the OEM ones. OEM usually works flawlessly for me.

That’s a good point. I guess sticking with OEM is a safer bet. Are there specific aftermarket brands you’d recommend steering clear of?

I’ve had luck with Magpul and ETS magazines, but avoid brands like ProMag—I’ve heard they can be hit or miss.

Good to know! Thanks for the tips. You know, as long as it works, I guess it’s fine for the Dagger. Who needs reliability anyway? Just kidding!

I’ve been using my PSA Dagger with Glock 19 mags, and it works great! I haven’t had any issues with feeding or ejection. Highly recommend it!

That’s awesome! I have a Dagger too, but I only have Glock 17 mags. Do they work just as well?

Glock 17 mags fit and function perfectly in my PSA Dagger. I’ve shot multiple sessions with no feeding issues. You’re good to go!

I tried using Glock 19X mags, but they didn’t lock in properly. Just wanted to give a heads up to others with different variants.

That’s interesting! I wonder if it’s just a compatibility issue with that specific mag or all compact ones.

I’ve heard some users struggle with aftermarket Glock magazines. Stick to OEM if you want reliability with the Dagger!

That’s good advice! OEM mags are the way to go. Better safe than sorry!

Anyone have experience with the extension base plates on Glock mags? Do they affect function in the Dagger?

I actually added base plates and it didn’t affect anything! The extra rounds are nice, plus it still fits well in the Dagger.
