I’ve had my Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact for about a year. It’s been great for target shooting! The accuracy is solid, especially at 25 yards. I mainly use FMJ rounds for practice and they work perfectly.

That’s good to hear! I’ve been curious about how it handles recoil. What do you think? Is it manageable for quick follow-up shots?

Absolutely! The recoil is surprisingly mild for a compact 9mm. I find it comfortable to shoot, even with +P ammo. It helps me stay on target easier.

That’s great to know! How does it feel during rapid fire? Can you keep the shots on target?

In my experience, during rapid fire, I can keep it on target pretty well. I also prefer using 115gr rounds, as they seem to perform best in terms of grouping.

Interesting! I usually go for 124gr. Have you noticed any differences in accuracy with different weights?

The handling remains good regardless of ammo type. Just a slight difference in feel, but nothing drastic. It’s quite versatile!

Not at all! I’ve put over 500 rounds through mine with no malfunctions. It’s been reliable with various brands too.

That’s impressive! How do you feel about cleaning and maintenance for this model?

Cleaning is straightforward! Just a quick field strip and I’m done. Definitely less hassle compared to some other brands I’ve owned.

I’ve been using the Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact for a few months now, and I really love the ergonomic grip. It feels comfortable even during long sessions at the range. The weight is just right for me, not too heavy but still feels solid.

That’s great to hear! How do you find the grip for different hand sizes? I’m a bit worried about that since I have smaller hands.

I have larger hands, and I still find the grip to be quite manageable. The texturing really helps with a secure hold. I haven’t experienced any discomfort even after an hour of practice.

That sounds promising! How’s the weight distribution? Is it manageable for extended uses?
