Reliability is a big deal for me, especially if I’m considering this for self-defense. Have you experienced any jams or malfunctions? How well does it handle different types of ammunition?

I’ve had my Astra Constable 380 for a few months now. It’s been quite reliable, even in some wet conditions. What’s your experience been like?

I’ve shot at various distances, and the accuracy is surprisingly good up to 25 yards. Beyond that, I found it a bit tricky. Anyone else notice this?

So far, I’ve had consistent groupings around 15 yards, but I wouldn’t trust it past that. I’d love to hear what others think about long-range accuracy!

That’s interesting. My shots hit pretty close to point of aim at that range too. Reliability-wise, any failure-to-feed issues?

No issues for me, even after a few hundred rounds. I’ve read about others having some feed problems though. Could be an ammo issue?

That’s a good point. What type of ammo are you guys using? I’ve been using factory loads and they’ve worked well.

I’ve tried both factory and some handloads with mixed results. The Astra seems picky, especially with certain brands. Any recommendations?

Definitely! I’ve had issues with a couple of brands too. Consistency seems key for it to run smoothly.

I’ve found that it handles well in all weather, but the grip could be better in slick conditions. Just my two cents!

Agreed, a better textured grip would make all the difference! But overall, it’s a solid piece.

I haven’t had any issues with grip, but does anyone else find the sights a bit lacking? They’re decent, but could use an upgrade.

Yeah, I had to adjust them a bit to get them to suit my preferences. Have you tried aftermarket options?

I haven’t ventured into aftermarket sights yet. Do they really make that much difference? Would love feedback!

Totally! Better sights can improve your confidence and accuracy, especially at longer distances.

Good to know! It’s always worth investing in something that enhances performance. I might look into it!

I’ve had my Astra Constable 380 for about a year now, and I must say, the build quality is solid. The materials used feel durable, and it has a nice heft to it without being too heavy.

That’s good to hear! I was worried about how it would feel during an extended shooting session. How’s the grip comfort for you?

The grip is surprisingly comfortable. I have smaller hands, and it fits just right. Weight distribution is also balanced, which helps with accuracy!

That’s great! I often struggle with grip comfort on compact models. Do you think the weight helps reduce recoil?
