Yes! Plus, don’t forget to check out the forum for user-submitted load data—sometimes you find gems from experienced reloaders!

So true! It’s nice to share and learn from each other. What other bullets are good for .223?

I’ve had a lot of fun reloading with Hornady ELD-X too! But the Nosler Ballistic Tips have been my go-to for varmint hunting.

Haha, yeah, they really make the hunt exciting! It’s like fireworks with the right load!

I’ve been using Nosler Ballistic Tip .223 for a couple of years now. The accuracy is top-notch! They group really well, especially at distances up to 300 yards.

What kind of rifle are you using with those? I’ve been considering them for my AR-15.

I’ve tried those in my bolt-action rifle, and they showed great expansion on close-range targets. Definitely impressed with the terminal performance!

That sounds promising, Dominique! I struggle with over-penetration. Do you find the expansion sufficient for deer hunting?

For deer, I’ve found that they expand well and aren’t overly destructive, keeping the meat intact. They perform better than some other brands I’ve tried. Just my experience!

That’s good to know! What other brands did you compare against, if you don’t mind sharing?

I compared them with Hornady and Sierra. Nosler had better accuracy overall in my tests, but Sierra had more predictable expansion in some cases.

Interesting! Has anyone had an issue with jamming when using these bullets in AR platforms?

I’ve never had a jam with them, but I have heard mixed reviews. Some say they can be a bit finicky. Maybe it depends on the magazine you use?

Totally agree! I had issues with my first magazine. Switched it, and then everything ran smoothly.

At the end of the day, it’s about finding what works for you. I’ve stuck to Nosler for a reason; their quality is impressive!
