I’ve owned the M&P 15 T2 for about a year now, and I have to say, it’s incredibly reliable. I’ve taken it out in the rain, and it performed just as well as on sunny days. It’s definitely worth considering!

I totally agree! I’ve used different types of ammunition, and the M&P 15 T2 has handled everything from brass to steel without any issues. Accuracy is outstanding at 100 yards.

I’ve heard mixed things about its accuracy. How well does it perform at longer distances?

Honestly, it’s pretty consistent. I’ve hit targets at 300 yards with minimal adjustments. It’s definitely a solid rifle for range days!

I’ve taken my M&P 15 T2 to a few tactical courses, and it performed flawlessly. The reliability, especially when rapid firing, was impressive. Never jammed once.

That’s really good to hear! Reliability is key for me. Did you use any specific type of magazine with it?

I mainly use Magpul PMAGs, and I haven’t had a single malfunction. Great fit for the M&P 15 T2. I also use some steel magazines with no trouble too.

I’ve shot it with both 55gr and 62gr ammo, and I honestly prefer the 62gr for better accuracy at range. Narrows down the group size quite nicely!

Interesting! I’ve only shot with 55gr so far. What distances are you shooting at with the 62gr?

Usually 100-200 yards. At 200 yards, I can still keep everything in a 2-inch group. For a semi-auto, you can’t beat that!

On a side note, is it just me, or does the M&P 15 T2 have the coolest look? It’s like a tactical dream, especially with the right accessories. Just saying!

I’ve been using the M&P 15 T2 for a while now and I must say, the customization options are endless! I personally upgraded to a red dot sight, which has improved my accuracy significantly.

Red dot sights are great, but have you looked into different grips? I swapped mine for a Magpul MOE grip, and it has made a world of difference in comfort and control during shooting.

I’m considering adding a foregrip and maybe a bipod. Does anyone have experience with those on the M&P 15 T2?

I’ve used a vertical foregrip and it helps stabilize your shots, especially during rapid fire. A good bipod can also enhance your long-range shooting experience!

I haven’t done much customization yet, but I’ve been thinking about adding tactical lights. Any suggestions on brands?

Sure! Streamlight and SureFire are top brands. I installed a Streamlight TLR-1 on mine, and it’s bright enough for any scenario.

I love the M&P 15 T2, but I feel like the factory stock could use some work. Has anyone upgraded theirs to a more adjustable stock?

Yes! I upgraded to the Magpul CTR stock. It’s lightweight and provides excellent adjustability. Totally worth it!
