Anyone tried the Glock 43X with PSA magazines? Looking for feedback!

I’ve recently been exploring magazine options for my Glock 43X and stumbled upon the PSA (Palmetto State Armory) magazines designed for it. There’s quite a bit of buzz about them, but I’m curious to hear about real-world experiences before diving in. Here are a few things I’d love to know:

Reliability

  • How have these magazines performed for you in terms of reliability? Any feeding issues, or have they been smooth sailing?

Functionality

  • Are there any specific features of the PSA magazines that stand out? How do they compare to OEM Glock magazines?

Capacity and Size

  • I’m particularly interested in how the capacity of these magazines plays out in actual use. Do they provide a good balance of capacity and handling?

Recommendations

  • For anyone who’s used them, would you recommend these magazines over others? Are there better options out there for the Glock 43X?

Additional Tips

  • Any tips for new users considering these magazines or the Glock 43X in general? Insights on maintenance or best practices would be invaluable!

I appreciate any feedback or personal experiences you can share. Looking forward to your thoughts!

I’ve been using the PSA magazines with my Glock 43X for a few months now, and so far, they have been pretty reliable. No feeding issues at all!

That’s great to hear! I was a bit skeptical about using PSA magazines because I’ve read mixed reviews. It’s nice to know they worked well for you.

I’ve tried using the PSA magazines as well, and while they fit nicely, I’ve had a couple of jams during practice. Maybe it was just the magazine I used?

That’s concerning. Have you tried cleaning them? Sometimes, a little maintenance can make a big difference in performance.

I’ve used them for both range and self-defense, and they’ve worked flawlessly for me. I think the issue might be specific to the individual magazine.

Flawlessly is what we like to hear! Were they easy to load? Some magazines can be a pain.

I’ve had great experiences with loading them. They were a bit stiff at first, but after a few uses, it got easier.

That’s reassuring to hear! Stiffness can be a dealbreaker for some, but it sounds like they break in well.

How many rounds do you usually keep loaded in the PSA magazines? I’ve heard differing opinions on how many you should keep for reliability.

I typically load them to full capacity. I’ve read that it’s generally okay, but it may depend on the specific magazine.

Interesting! I usually leave one round out. Just curious, have you experienced any discomfort during extended carry with them?

I carried one of the PSA mags for hours and didn’t notice any discomfort, which was pleasantly surprising. Fit in the holster is pretty good too.

Good to know! Comfort is key when you’re carrying for a long time. But can we agree that any magazine can sometimes feel like a brick?

Haha, totally! I always joke that my Glock becomes a mini weightlifting session during long days out. But at least we know the PSA mags hold up for the task!

I’ve been using PSA magazines with my Glock 43X for a couple of months now. They seem to perform well and I haven’t had any major issues. The price point is definitely more appealing than OEM Glock magazines.

That’s a great point! I’ve always leaned towards OEM for reliability, but if PSA can hold up, that cost savings is hard to ignore!

I haven’t tried PSA mags myself, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about feeding issues. Some users report occasional jams, especially with hollow points. Anyone experienced that?

I can back that up. I’ve had a couple of feeding issues during practice sessions, which is concerning.

In my experience, the PSA magazines have been surprisingly durable! I’ve dropped them a few times and they still function fine. Just keep an eye on the feed lips.
