Anyone Tried Glock 26 Gen 5 Pinky Extensions?

Seeking Recommendations for Pinky Extensions

I’ve recently purchased a Glock 26 Gen 5 and I love it! However, I’ve found that the grip can be a little short for my hands, especially when shooting for extended periods. I’ve been looking into pinky extensions to improve my grip comfort and control.

What to Look For

  1. Comfort and Fit: I want something that feels secure and comfortable when I’m holding the gun.
  2. Material Quality: Durability is key since I plan to use my Glock regularly.
  3. Price Point: I’m looking for options in various price ranges, so any recommendations on budget vs premium could really help.
  4. Ease of Installation: I prefer something that’s pretty straightforward to install without needing specialized tools.

Brands and Options

I’ve seen a few brands mentioned, like Pearce Grips and GVN Grip Extensions. If anyone has experience with these or other brands, I would love to hear your thoughts. How do they perform in terms of comfort? Are there any drawbacks?

Personal Experiences

If you’ve upgraded your Glock 26 with a pinky extension, please share your experiences. Did it enhance your grip? How does it function during shooting sessions? Any issues with fitting or reliability?

General Advice

Lastly, I’d appreciate any general advice or tips regarding pinky extensions for compact firearms. It’s always great to gather insights from fellow Glock enthusiasts!

Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide!

I’ve been using a pinky extension on my Glock 26 Gen 5 for a few months now. It definitely improves my grip! I’m able to hold it more securely during rapid fire.

Totally agree! The pinky extension adds that extra stability. I felt much more confident with my aim after installing it.

I have a few different extensions I’ve tried. Some fit well, others not so much. Comfort varies, but all offer better grip in my experience.

I’m curious, which brands have you tried? I’m considering upgrading mine but want to know what’s worth the investment.

I’ve used the Pearce and the Glock OEM extensions. Honestly, the OEM feels more solid, but both have their pros and cons.

Thanks for sharing! Do you feel like the extra length makes it hard to conceal carry?

For me, it hasn’t made a huge difference in concealability. Just gotta be mindful of how you dress. But I love the extra grip!

Interesting point! I’ve been on the fence about adding one. If it doesn’t affect my concealment much, I might go for it.

I haven’t tried one yet, but heeding all these positive reviews, I may just get a pinky extension next week! Thanks for the input!

You’ll love it! Just be sure to practice with it a bit to get used to the feel. It can change how you handle the gun slightly.

That sounds like solid advice! I’ll definitely take that into account before hitting the range.

I found my accuracy improved while using an extension. Though at first, my grip felt off, I adjusted quickly. Worth the try!

It’s the little things that impact us the most! Reflecting on my experience, I can’t help but appreciate the enhancements these small modifications bring.

I recently tried the Pearce grip extension for my Glock 26 Gen 5, and it’s fantastic! The rubberized material gives a solid feel and adds just enough length. Highly recommend it for better control.

I’ve heard good things about the Tyrant Designs extensions too! Has anyone compared those to Pearce? I’m curious about their weight advantages.

I have the Vickers Tactical extension, and it feels lightweight but sturdy. The material is great for grip. I’ve found it helps me with recoil control during practice. Worth checking out!

I agree! The Vickers extension also has a nice, aggressive texture. Adds to the overall performance without feeling bulky.
