Looking for Feedback on Cabela’s Stand Hunter Extreme Coveralls
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect cold weather hunting gear and I keep hearing about Cabela’s Stand Hunter Extreme Coveralls. With the winter hunting season around the corner, I’m curious about how well these coveralls actually perform in real hunting situations.
Here’s what I’m hoping to find out:
Warmth: How do they fare in really cold temperatures? Are they insulated enough for long sits in freezing weather?
Fit: Do they run true to size? Any tips on sizing up or down based on your experience?
Utility: How’s the pocket space? Do you feel like you have enough room for gear, and are the pockets accessible while wearing them?
Durability: Having spent some time in the field, do they stand up to the wear and tear of hunting?
Bonus Questions:
Comparison: How do they measure up against other cold weather gear you’ve used? Any comparisons to brands like Sitka or other popular hunting gear?
Purchasing: Has anyone bought them used? Any recommendations on where to find the best deals, or should I just invest in new?
I want to make sure I’m geared up for the best possible experience this hunting season, so any feedback or insights would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences regarding these coveralls. Thanks in advance!
I’ve been using the Cabela’s Stand Hunter Extreme Coveralls for two seasons now. The material is fantastic! It keeps me warm and dry even in the harshest conditions.
I’ve tried the Cabela’s Stand Hunter Extreme Coveralls and overall, I found the fit to be accommodating. I have a larger frame and I was surprised how comfortable they were. Movement was decent for retrieving gear while hunting.
I’ve found the coveralls to be a bit bulky in the midsection, which has impacted my mobility somewhat. I’m a size large, so I wonder if sizing down might help with the fit and comfort.
I wear a size XXL and can confirm that they fit pretty well! I feel they give a good range of motion while duck hunting, even when reaching for my gear.
