I have the Taurus PT 92 AFS and it’s been great. The stainless steel finish is beautiful and it’s really reliable for the price. No jams yet after 300 rounds.

That’s awesome to hear! I’ve had mine for about a year and I completely agree about the reliability. It’s a fun range gun for sure.

I’ve owned several handguns, and the Taurus PT 92 AFS is one of my favorites due to its solid performance. Accuracy is superb, especially at 15 yards.

Regarding performance, I found the trigger pull to be quite smooth on my PT 92 AFS. It’s certainly a step up from some budget models I’ve tried.

Absolutely! I think Taurus really stepped up their game with this one. Have you encountered any issues with yours?

I’ve honestly had zero issues so far. Just keep it well-maintained, and it runs like a champ! Anyone else have thoughts on maintenance tips?

That’s good to hear! Sometimes I feel like cleaning my guns is more of a hassle than shooting them!

I think the Taurus PT 92 AFS is a great choice for beginners. It’s enjoyable to shoot, but I did have some occasional ejection issues. Just a few flukes though.

That’s interesting! I’ve read mixed reviews on ejection problems. What ammo are you using?

For me, the PT 92 AFS has been a delight. It’s really quite reflective of Taurus’s improvements in quality control over the years. Definitely recommend it!

I’ve had my Taurus PT 92 AFS for about a year now, and I must say it holds up well against the Beretta 92. The stainless steel finish is a great feature for durability and looks fantastic.

That finish definitely gives it an edge! How does it compare in terms of accuracy and recoil with the Glock models?

In my experience, the Taurus has less recoil due to its weight, which makes it easier to handle than some Glocks. It also has a smoother trigger pull!

That’s interesting! Does that translate to better accuracy at longer ranges?

Absolutely! The Taurus PT 92 AFS is known for its accuracy. I feel comfortable taking longer shots than I would with my Glock 17.

Price-wise, the Taurus is usually more affordable than the Beretta, which is a significant factor for many of us. You get a lot of value for what you pay!

That’s a good point. Has anyone had issues with reliability or jams? I’ve heard mixed reviews.

I’ve fired over 500 rounds without a single jam, so I’d say it’s quite reliable. However, it’s important to keep it clean like any firearm.

Fair enough! But what’s the catch? Can it stand the test against a Glock in a high-stress situation?
