Anyone else having issues with Glock 43X Apex trigger?

Discussing Glock 43X Apex Trigger Problems

I’ve been experiencing some real challenges with my Glock 43X since I installed the Apex trigger. I’m curious if others have faced similar issues. Here are some of the problems I’ve encountered:

  • Trigger Reset Failures: It seems like the trigger reset isn’t consistent. Sometimes it feels like it doesn’t reset fully, which can lead to some unexpected shots.
  • Uncomfortable Trigger Pull: The pull weight feels off. It’s not as smooth as I had hoped it would be, and I’m starting to question if it’s worth the upgrade.
  • General Performance Issues: I’ve noticed occasional light strikes that never happened before with the factory trigger. It’s frustrating during practice sessions where reliability is key.

Seeking Solutions

I really want to hear from others who’ve experienced these issues. What fixes have you found? Have any of you reached out to Apex for support? I’d also like to know if you’ve had any success altering the installation or following specific adjustment steps to remedy these challenges.

Possible Safety Concerns

Moreover, I stumbled upon some discussions about safety recalls for these triggers. If anyone has more info, it would be helpful to share. Safety is always our priority.

Let’s get together and share our experiences, solutions, and any insights you might have. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

I’ve been having issues with the Apex trigger installation too! The alignment just doesn’t seem right. What tools do we need for a smooth fit?

I’ve also faced misalignment when installing the Apex trigger. A couple of flathead screwdrivers and a punch might help! Anyone else find that useful?

I’m in the same boat! After trying multiple times, I think it’s the trigger pins causing the misalignment. Has anyone successfully resolved this?

Nice to know I’m not alone! Maybe we just need to loosen the pins a bit? It might let everything settle better.

Loosening the pins sounds like a good idea, but be careful! Too loose can lead to other issues. Have you guys checked if the trigger functions correctly after adjustments?

I haven’t tested after loosening yet. Anyone here tried using a rubber mallet for alignment? Just curious if it’s a safe option.

I actually did! It helped with the alignment but I think I might have overdone it. Now I hear a slight rattle. Eek!

Yikes, a slight rattle is never good! Maybe checking the installation guide again might help pinpoint what went wrong?

I did read through that, but sometimes I think the manual misses crucial steps. Has anyone found a video tutorial that works well?

Yes, I found a great video on YouTube! It explained the steps clearly and helped me a lot. Just search ‘Apex trigger Glock 43X install’—you won’t regret it!

I tried that video, and it did help a bit to understand. Still, the actual installation had its challenges—and I’m no stranger to tinkering!

It sounds like we’re all in the same struggle! Maybe we should start a support group or something—‘Apex Triggers Anonymous.’

Haha! I’d totally join that. Seriously though, a little community support can go a long way in troubleshooting these issues.

Absolutely! If only troubleshooting came with a manual for human support too! But hey, we can help each other out here!

Right? It might be worth sharing our setup photos or steps that worked! Though who knows, we might just pass on our collective headaches instead!

I’ve definitely been having issues with light strikes on my 43X using the Apex trigger. It’s been quite frustrating at the range. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I’ve had similar problems with light strikes. It seems to happen mostly with certain types of ammo. What are you using?

I’m also having trouble with the trigger reset; it feels inconsistently sluggish sometimes. Anyone know if that’s common?

That’s interesting. I thought my trigger was just breaking in. How long have you had yours?
