Anyone else facing issues with Bear Creek Arsenal uppers?

I’ve been looking into Bear Creek Arsenal uppers and want to hear from others about their experiences. Have any of you faced reliability or functionality problems with these uppers?

Here are some specifics I’m curious about:

  • Reliability: Have they performed well under different conditions?
  • Functionality: How do they work with various lower receivers? Any compatibility issues?
  • Common Problems: Are there specific issues that seem to crop up frequently?
  • User Reviews: If you’ve got any positive or negative reviews, I’d love to hear those too!

Before I make a purchase, I’m really looking to gather some firsthand experiences from the community. Let’s share our insights and help each other out. Thanks in advance for your input!

I’ve had cycling failures with my Bear Creek Arsenal upper. It often fails to eject spent casings. Anyone else noticed this?

I’ve experienced similar issues with ejection. Sometimes it just doesn’t cycle properly at all, leaving me frustrated.

Barrel alignment seems to be a recurring issue too. My shots are all over the place. Is this common?

Absolutely! I’ve had to adjust mine multiple times. It seems like it’s a factory defect more often than not.

I had extractor malfunctions too. It wouldn’t grab the casing properly, leaving me with a jam. Has anyone found a fix?

I replaced mine with an aftermarket extractor and it has worked much better since then!

Funny how we pay good money for these uppers, yet they come with so many problems. It’s like a bad joke!

Seriously! I thought I was getting a deal, but it’s turned into a headache.

Keep discussing this! It helps us all identify common problems and solutions. Have any of you contacted Bear Creek for support?

I did reach out, but all they did was suggest cleaning it better. Not really helpful.

What kind of cleaning routine are you using? I might need to adjust mine if that’s the issue.

Not to be that guy, but if you’re having consistent issues, might be time to consider other brands? Just a thought…

True, but I’ve invested in this already! It’s frustrating to think about switching.

Let’s hope Bear Creek can turn things around soon! Otherwise, they might lose a lot of customers.

I’ve been having significant issues with the fit of my Bear Creek Arsenal upper on a few different lower receivers. They just don’t seem to mate well together.

I hear you on that! I tried my Bear Creek upper with a couple of different lowers, and there’s definitely a noticeable variance in fit. Some are way looser than others.

I’ve experienced the same! The tolerances seem to vary a lot. I ended up using a specific lower that worked better, but I had to swap out some parts to get it just right.

What parts did you end up swapping? I’m considering making some modifications myself.

I swapped out the buffer tube and spring, which helped reduce the wobble a lot. You might want to consider trying a different stock too!
