I think both calibers have their place. The .338 Rem Ultra Mag feels a bit like a rollercoaster – it’s fun but you need to brace for it. Do you prefer the power or the handling?

I lean towards the handling! Accuracy with recoil management is key for me, especially at longer distances.

For me, it’s reflective – shooting is about finding that sweet spot. Both are great, but I think the Lapua shines a bit more in terms of long-range precision once you get used to the recoil.
