TN Permit Holder Involved In ATM Shoot-out !
     On Friday October 17, 1997 at 7:40 P.M. Mr. Bobby Holland age 25, was using the ATM at Union Planters Bank 2128 Airways in Memphis, when two males came towards him threatening him with a pistol.  They demanded that he give them money or they would kill him.  One of the attackers pointed a .380 Bryco semi-automatic at Mr. Holland.  What they did not know was that they were about to meet a legally armed citizen.  Mr. Holland drew his own firearm and opend fire.  This resulted in one robber Mr. Michael Hutchieson age 31, in critical condition at the scene of the incident.  He was hit in the abdomen and thigh.  At thetime of this article, he remaind in the hospital.  The other suspect Mr. Angelto Sosa, age 22 fled the scene but was apprehended at methodist Hospital Emergency Room where ho sought treatment for a gunshoot wound to his leg.  The police indicated that his wound may have come from being hit by the same bullet the hit Mr. Hutchieson.  The victim was not harmed.  Memphis police are questioning the robbers about similar incidents in the Memphis are where people have been robbed at ATM's.  Mr Sosa was taken to jail on October 18th where he waived his Miranda Rights.  Mr. Sosa and Mr. Hutchieson have been charged with Criminal Attempted Felony [Ie. attempted robbery].  No charges are pending against the victim Mr. Holland.  Police sopkesman Lt. Richard True indicated to us that this was a 
"good shoot".
