Legally armed citizens should be a deterrent to criminals. If we were free to carry more places it would make the bad guys think twice. As it is now, they know where they are safe to do their worst. I have had my permit to carry as long as it has been law in Tennessee and so far(thank God) I haven't even had to think about using it.But here in my neck of the woods people more or less know who owns firearms and know how to use them !!!
