One provision that was hailed by the NRA because they worked on it for about two years, allows employees who have the premission of their employer,  may leave their firearm in their vehicle while on the premises of the employer's parking lot.  However, employers who own their property and those who lease property, have the right to forbid guns in thier lots.

Govenor Purdue is expected to sign the bill.  When signed, the inception date is July 1,2008.
