I asked the manager in the Walmart Store on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro, about their position on carrying within their store. The manager told me that Open Carry within the store by individuals who possess a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit, is allowed When they notice someone who is carrying a pistol in the open, they will ask to see their TN Handgun Carry Permit. They will not ask them to leave if they possess a TN Permit. This is the mode of carry they allows. I asked about if concealed carry is allowed. She responded that they allow Open Carry, and did not elaborate on Concealed Carry.
