NEBRASKA Concealed Handgun Permit The Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit Law is scheduled to take effect on January 2007. Until reciprocal agreements are signed between Nebraska and other states, some states will automatically honor the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit. These states are colored GREEN. As soon as a person receives the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit, they will be legal to carry in these states based on the other states laws that honor ANY license or permit to carry a weapon issued by any state government. States that honor the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit are GREEN. States that do not honor the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit are RED.
