New Tennessee State Law Concerning Concealed Carry Laws becomes active July 1, 2003
1: A facially valid handgun, firearms, weapons, carry, license permit from another State will be valid in Tennessee according to its terms, and shall be treated like a handgun permit issued by this State
2: This does not allow anyone to carry anything other than a Handgun.
3: The person is required to carry in his or her possession their valid permit while carrying a weapon in Tennessee.
4: The commissioner shall enter into a Reciprocity agreement with any other State that requires such.
5: If another State imposes conditions on Tennessee Permit holders, the same will apply to persons of that State carrying a weapon in Tennessee.
6: If someone with another States valid permit move to Tennessee they have six months to acquire a Tennessee Permit.
